Monteversa is the name of the hill on the west of the Colli Euganei occupied by this Vineyard of 24 hectares. It is unusual amongst our producers as the driving force behind MonteVersas’ growth and philosophy has been estate manager Giovanni Bressanin who, having grown up on his uncles vineyard nearby, ensures all is done according to the principles of organic production.
Monteversa has been producing organic wine since 2010 with the control of pests being carried out naturally and the grapes being picked by hand. This all requires determination and dedication. The reward…… a superior product.
Alongside the classic wines of the Colli Euganei such as Fior D’Arancio and Bordeaux style reds, Monteversa also produce less well known but no less tasty wines such as Manzoni Bianco and their innovative Primaversa, a dry Moscato Giallo re-fermented in the bottle.
