Welcome to the Veneto: More than just Venice...

The Veneto is the north-eastern Italian region bordering Trentino-Alto Adige (North), Friuli-Venezia Giulia (Northeast), Emilia-Romagna (South), and Lombardia (West). Surrounded by lush, green, rolling hillsides, Veneto is a mecca for architecture, food, history, and vino. Veneto was part of the Roman Empire until the 5th century AD, it then became part of The Republic of Venice, “La Serenissima” until 1797, and thereafter of the Austrian Empire until it was annexed to the Kingdom of Italy in 1866.

Col del Lupo

It was 1942 when Marco & Giulias great grandfather left “Col del Lupo” to their grandfather Aldo.

Both Andreas grandfathers were winemakers and today he rents a piece of his Grandfathers land from is uncle.

Pialli's family produces wine sine the 50’s: both grandfathers land was merged in 1999 to create a vineyard dedicated to the production of the little known Tai Rosso or ‘Venetian Tocai’.

Monteversa is the name of the hill occupied by this Vineyard of 24 hectares with an annual production of around 54,000 bottles.
