Police officer by day – Natural wine superhero by night…

That is Andrea Fiorini-Carbognin the CNO, chief nudity officer, at Garganuda wines. Why all this talk of nudity? Because Andrea makes a 100% Garganega with nothing added,  in 2015 he created Soaves first natural biodynamic wine. It’s just grapes, hence naked, nuda in Italian. Alongside this is his similarly nude Valpolicella made with the Corvina, and Rondinella grapes.

Both Andreas grandfathers were winemakers and today he rents a piece of their land from his uncle. ‘I think that the soils of my territory are among the most interesting in the world, my goal remains to make a wine that is not overly technical and a true representation of the grape and its vintage.‘
